Elevated Shredding began with an idea, the idea that anyone can make a difference in their community with a little creativity and drive.

In 2016, partners Jen Green-Vance and Joe Vance started Elevated Shredding with a passion for providing quality service and employment opportunities for their community. Their mission also included job training and paid work experience for differently- abled individuals. Through providing trusted, friendly and high-quality destruction services, Jen and Joe made environmental stewardship a top priority. Through their paper processing operations, 100% of the paper shreds are guaranteed to be recycled.

At the same time, Jen and Joe began Strides 2 Thrive, an agency providing a variety of support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
